Nightlife

Rocky Point is famous for its superb food, beautiful sunsets and sea vistas, white sandy beaches, lots of recreational activities, and the warm hospitality of the Mexican community.

Tourism is the major industry in Puerto Peñasco. Accommodations are limited. Most hotels, restaurants, and businesses in Puerto Peñasco have English-speaking personnel.

Following are just some of our favorite hot spots. Many of them have indoor and outdoor seating.

JJ’s Cantina
  • BAJA CANTINA
This Place is a hotspot and very interesting bar. Lots of T.V's, pool tables, swimming pool, even a hotel up above. They offer food and good times bar. It has live music at the week-ends and a lovely new and very quaint coffee house is next door.

  • JJ’S CANTINA
This is the bar that pretty much started it all! JJ's has been around for... well legend has it that it's been around before there was a Rocky Point. When Rocky Point was just for fishing and a couple of holidays there was the all known JJ's. Located in Cholla Bay, and worth the trip so you can say you were there.

  • MANNY’S
A pass through window from the kitchen makes a convenient serving area. No shirt, no shoes, no problem.
    12 Coahuila Ave. Tel. 383-3605

  • PINK CADILLAC
Old time 50's food by day and wild bar by night. A favorite.
    141 Matamoros Ave. Tel. 383-5880
Pink Cadillac

The Reef
  • SUNSET CANTINA
Located across from Plaza Las Glorias this bar is gaining a reputation fast for one of the hotspots for night life.

  • THE REEF
A place where everyone goes to get crazy and party on the beach. A “Spring Break” favorite.
